Hundreds of Business Owners Attend Transportation Entrepreneurship Event

The pilot program was launched at the inaugural gathering in the Transportation Department headquarters.

The Department of Transportation (DOT) hosted its inaugural entrepreneurship event at its headquarters in Washington, D.C. Over 400 small business owners, stakeholders, and academic leaders attended the one-day event, learning how the department’s new program can help small businesses enter into emerging transportation markets.

“The successful launch of the Pathways to Entrepreneurship pilot program is part of our continued work to create equitable access to economic opportunities so small and disadvantaged businesses can thrive in emerging transportation markets today and in the decades ahead,” said Secretary Pete Buttigieg.
